The most abundant bird on the marsh this morning was the STOCK DOVE.Heard and not seen cock - PHEASANT, YELLOWHAMMER, SONG THRUSH.

There was a loud splash in the main pool this morning, I believe it to have been a medium sized PIKE taking one of the small fish which had been about the surface of the pool all morning.
Do we know what species of fish are in the pools on the marsh???.
There were good numbers and varied species of butterflies damselflies and Dragonflies on the marsh today.
